Swiss Culture Night

Geneva, Switzerland is not only the setting of the 33rd Triennial and Centenary Conference, it is also a city of culture, history and wonderful landscapes. Embedded between the Alps and the hills of the Jura, the French Speaking city of Geneva lies in the bay where the river Rhône leaves the Lac Léman. Western Europe’s largest lake, known by the francophones who people its shores as Lac Léman but by the rest of the world as Lake Geneva, is recognized worldwide for its breath-taking scenery.

On Saturday 27 July 2019, do not miss the opportunity to get a taste of Swiss Culture and Cuisine while enjoying the spellbinding lake scenery with the mountain in the background from an authentic Belle-Epoque paddle steamboat. The Swiss Evening will consist of a 3 hours cruise and festive dinner of delectable Swiss Cuisine on the Simplon, one of the jewels of the Lake Geneva General Navigation Company (CGN). CGN is known worldwide for operating the most prestigious Belle-Epoque fleet in the world. Our tour of the Lac Léman will be accompanied by traditional Swiss musical entertainment, provided by the acclaimed Music ensemble “La Brante”.
